Getting started with your club
EpicHire gives your club a private home base - members, channels, events and a roster - and connects it to employers who want to hire from clubs like yours. This page explains what you can do from day one, and what opens up once you're an officer.
Two kinds of club member
Almost everything in EpicHire is gated by a role. Everyone in your club is a member: you can read and post in your club's internal channels, see events, RSVP and check in, and browse the jobs your club has access to. Officers hold roles with extra permissions - adding members, posting jobs, inviting companies, geofencing events, and the corporate channels shared with connected employers.
If a button in this documentation isn't showing up for you, you almost certainly need a permission rather than a different app. Ask whoever set up your club to check your role.
If you just joined a club
Four things are worth doing in your first week. The first one matters most - an empty profile is invisible to the employers your club is connected to.
Set up your profile and resume
Add a photo and upload your resume so connected employers can actually find you - and so your club earns points for it.
RSVP and check in to events
Find your club's events, RSVP, and check in when you arrive - including what to do when an event is geofenced.
Find jobs, opportunities and forms
Browse the jobs your club's employer connections and officers have shared, apply to them, and fill out company forms.
Club chats and channels
Your club's internal channels, and the corporate channels you share with employers your club has connected with.
If you run a club
Start with your roster - most of the rest of EpicHire gets more useful the more of your club is actually on it.
Add members and upload your roster
Upload a spreadsheet to invite your whole club at once, send role-specific invite links, and chase the members who haven't joined yet.

Post jobs to your club job board
Found a job online or know a company that's hiring? Post it to your club's own board so your members see it.
Invite companies to connect
Invite the employers your club already networks with to join EpicHire for free and share their jobs with your members.
Build your company network
Send and accept employer connection requests, understand your weekly connection limit, and see what connected companies get.
Geofence event check-in
Draw a check-in radius around your meeting location so only members who actually turn up can mark themselves present.
Create and review club forms
Build applications and interest forms, control who can see them, share by link or QR code, then rate and annotate the responses as a team.
How your club earns points
Your club has a points total, and points come almost entirely from ordinary member activity. This is worth understanding early, because points decide how many employers your club can reach out to each week.

Points move your club through four levels, and each level raises the number of new company connections your officers can start per week:

Why this matters to members
A member who uploads a resume and adds a photo is worth 15 points to the club, and a club that gets 100 members to do both clears Silver on that alone - doubling how many employers it can approach each week. "Fill in your profile" is not busywork; it is the club's recruiting budget.
Where everything lives
Open your club from Home - on the web and in the iOS app alike - and you get a list of everything it contains.

- Everyone in the club, their roles and their resumes. Officers get an Add button here for roster upload and invite links.
- Events
- Meetings, socials and career events. RSVP and check in from here.
- Company Network
- The employers your club is connected to, connection requests waiting on you, and the Invite Company button.
- Jobs & Opps
- Your club's job board plus the forms connected employers have shared with your members.
- Forms
- Applications and interest forms your club has created, and their submissions.
- Channels
- Your club's internal channels, which every member can see. Officers with Manage Company Networking also get the corporate channels shared with connected employers.
