Post jobs to your club job board
Your club's job board doesn't only fill up with postings from companies that joined EpicHire. If you find a job online, or you know a company that's hiring, you can post it yourself and it shows up for your members alongside everything else. In most cases you won't even type the details - paste the link and EpicHire reads the posting for you.
Members apply on the company's site
A job you post always sends applicants to an external link - External Application Link is a required field. Your club doesn't collect or manage applications for these jobs, and there's nowhere in EpicHire to review them. You're sharing a lead, not running a hiring process.
Who can do this
Posting jobs needs the Manage Jobs permission. If the Add Job button isn't showing in Jobs & Opps, that's what you're missing - see Roles and permissions.
On the iOS app
1. Open Jobs & Opportunities
Open your club, tap Jobs & Opps, then the + button at the top right.
2. Paste the link, then check it
Paste the URL of the posting and tap Parse Job Link - EpicHire reads the page and fills in the details. Then check what it got and fix anything it missed. External Application Link, Company Name, Job Title, Start Date, Job Type and Location are all required.
3. Post it
Tap Create and the job appears on your club's board straight away, mixed in with the jobs from your connected employers.
On a web browser
1. Click Add Job
At app.epichire.com, open your club, click Jobs & Opps, then Add Job at the top right.
2. Auto-fill from the job link
Paste the posting's URL into Auto-fill from job link and click Fill. It picks up the job title and description, locations, employment type and compensation - then you correct anything it got wrong. You can skip it entirely and type the details yourself.
3. Set a close date and an image
The Settings tab holds the Close Date - when the posting stops accepting applicants - and the Job Image, which defaults to your club logo. Upload the hiring company's branding if you'd rather.
4. Post it
Click Add Job. Your posting is tagged Shared from [your club] so members can tell it apart from jobs a connected employer posted, and your name shows on it as the Poster. View Application takes members out to the link you gave.

If your club is a chapter
Clubs that belong to a national organization get one extra control on the job editor: share with other chapters. Leave it on and your posting reaches every other chapter's board as well as your own, which is how a lead one chapter found becomes a lead the whole organization can use. Turn it off for something genuinely local - a campus job, a role only your members can take. Clubs without a parent organization never see this option.
Worth knowing
- Check what the parser gave you
- Auto-fill reads the page you point it at, and job pages vary. It saves most of the typing, but read the fields before you post - particularly compensation and start date, which postings often bury or omit.
- The company doesn't need an EpicHire account
- You can name any company on the posting. If you'd rather they were actually here, sharing their own jobs and talking to your members directly, see Invite companies to connect.
- Members can tell who posted what
- A job you post is labeled Shared from your club, with you as the poster. A job from a connected employer is labeled Shared to your club network and shows their recruiter instead.
- Closing beats deleting
- Give the posting a close date, or close it when it's filled. It stops appearing to members but you keep the record.
- You can hide the pay
- Compensation can be an exact figure, a range, or something freeform - and Don't list pay leaves it off the posting entirely when the original doesn't say.
