Rate career fair attendees
When a student scans your event QR code, they check in to your career fair event. Anyone working your booth can then score that student from 0 to 10. Everyone's scores are pooled into an average, so by the end of the day your check-in list is sorted by who the whole team liked best.
Who can rate
Anyone who can view your company page can rate attendees - you don't need to be a company page admin. Ratings are only visible to people on your company page. Students never see their rating.
On the iOS app
1. Open your career fair event
Find the event on your company dashboard or in the Events tab and tap it.
2. Find the attendee
The event shows everyone who has checked in. Anyone already rated shows their average as a colored score; anyone who hasn't shows Add Rating.
3. Drag the rating slider
Tap the attendee to open their details, then drag the slider under Rating to score them from 0 to 10. Your rating saves as soon as you let go.
4. See your team's ratings
Everyone else who rated this attendee is listed under your slider with their score and when they left it. The average and the number of ratings show at the top of the card.
5. Sort by rating
Back on the event, use the sort button to switch between Most Recent, Highest Rated and Lowest Rated.
On a web browser
1. Open your career fair event
At app.epichire.com, open Events on your company page and click the career fair.
2. Rate an attendee
The Attendees tab lists everyone who checked in with their average rating. Click View Attendee Details, then drag the slider to score them from 0 to 10. Your rating saves when you release the slider, and your team's ratings are listed underneath.
3. Sort by rating
Use the sort button above the list to switch between Most Recent, Highest Rated and Lowest Rated.
4. Export the results
Click Export Attendees to CSV to download the full check-in list. The file includes an Average Rating and Total Ratings column for every attendee.
How ratings work
- One rating each
- Every person on your company page gets one rating per attendee. Moving your slider again overwrites your own score - it does not add a second one, and it never changes anyone else's.
- The score color
- Scores are color coded on a scale from red at 0, through yellow at 5, to green at 10, so you can scan the list without reading every number.
- Unrated attendees
- Someone nobody has rated yet is not treated as a zero. When you sort by Lowest Rated, unrated attendees sort to the bottom rather than the top, so "nobody got to them" never looks like "the team agreed they were bad".
- Rating together
- Ratings update live. If a colleague at the booth rates someone while you have them open, their score and the new average appear without you refreshing.
